This page describes how the figures in this section are produced. The definitions and rules below are those of the code that computes the pages; the numbers are from the latest update.
Each homepage counter leads to a list that counts exactly the same thing, with the same rule.
Notices whose published status is “open” and whose closing date has not passed (or is not published), whatever the procedure: open, selective, by invitation, direct award.
Among active notices, those awarded through an open public tender (open to all suppliers). Active notices also include selective and by-invitation tenders and direct-award notices.
Among active notices, selective tenders (reserved for qualified suppliers).
Notices with at least one contract added to the published data during the last seven days (date the contract reached the data, not the award date).
Among active notices, those closing within the next seven days.
Among active notices, those published during the last seven days.

A federal notice is a duplicate of a Québec notice when both have the same normalized title (no accents, punctuation or capitals) and publication dates within seven days; the Québec version is kept. Organization, sector and region pages count a duplicate once; the six notice lists show it, flagged, so they count exactly like the homepage counters.
Duplicates found at the latest update: 10.
Pages are recomputed every day once the day's notices have been processed: between 09:15 and 12:45 (Eastern time), depending on when processing ends. If one source's data was not updated, or its volume drops sharply, the previous day's pages stay online.
New Québec notices are released as open data once a week: they arrive every Monday around 7 a.m. Federal notices arrive Monday to Friday around 8 a.m.
Latest update: October 25, 2026.
An organization, sector or region page is complete when it has at least 10 notices (organizations), 10 (sectors) or 10 (regions) published over 24 months. Below that, it remains available in a reduced version.
