Québec and federal public procurement

Every day, Québec public bodies and the federal government publish calls for tenders and award contracts. This information is public, but it is spread across two publication systems and hard to compare from one organization or region to the next.

This section brings it together. For every public body, business sector and region, it shows the notices open today, the number of notices published and contracts awarded over 24 months, the share of open tenders and direct awards, and the main suppliers selected. Québec and federal notices are combined, and a notice published in both systems is counted once.

The figures come from official open data and are updated every day, after new notices are published. Nothing is estimated or inferred: these are counts, totals and medians. The Methodology page sets out how each figure is defined and calculated, and its limits.
